Class Descriptions
500-Mile Hike from Florence to Rome - Susan Turner
52 Weeks 52 Hikes - Tami Brooks
In 2016 I decided I wanted to hike Rim to Rim at the Grand Canyon - with no outdoors or hiking experience.
El Comino de Santiago - Karen Rutter
Hiking in the Himalayas in Bhutan - Judyth Wier
I recently hiked in the Himalayas in Bhutan. At 71 I knew I needed plenty of time to get in shape. I needed endurance, nutrition and strength. Working with a personal trainer, experimenting with various forms of protein ( I am a long time vegetarian) and researching and buying the right gear we’re all paramount to a successful and enjoyable trip.
Hiking the 4000-Footers in the White Mountains of NH - Cheryl Suchors
How to Tie Useful Knots - Colleen Maki
Paint Night - Amy Fallace
Cute painted scenes
Sacred Stories - Diohn Brancaleoni
A chance to explore the archetypes, mythology and transformative moments of our life's journeys using a deck of inspiration cards and a willingness share our stories. When we look at the challenges life throws our way as metaphors for our inner process of exploration and transformation, we are reminded of our own strength, resilience, and commonality with our sisters.
Tortoise Tracks - Mikella Rutter
This is my story of hiking the Camino de Santiago. The moments I endured from being slow and last and the lessons learned along the way. The friendships formed, the experiences along the trail, and the memories made culminated in a love for hiking and a desire for more. Oh...I’ve never hiked a trail before flying to Spain and tackling the Camino de Santiago. Now, I’m hooked and have some pretty humorous, raw, yet real stories to tell.
